Samsung Electronics has unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip7, a compact yet powerful AI smartphone that blends portability with advanced functionality. Small enough to slip into a pocket, the Z Flip7 features the largest FlexWindow yet, flagship-grade cameras, and seamless Galaxy AI integration – making it the ultimate personal assistant and style companion.

The Galaxy Z Flip7’s edge-to-edge 4.1-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow is its biggest and brightest yet, with peak brightness of 2,600 nits and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate – even in sunlight. From quick replies and schedule checks to high-quality selfies, the FlexWindow keeps essentials front and centre without needing to open the phone.
The 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display also delivers a premium viewing experience with smooth scrolling and vibrant colour for all your streaming, gaming, and multitasking needs.

At just 188 grams and 13.7mm thick when folded, the Galaxy Z Flip7 is Samsung’s slimmest Flip yet. Engineered for resilience, it features a redesigned, thinner Armor FlexHinge and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and an Armor Aluminum Frame. It’s a stylish companion built to withstand everyday knocks and tumbles.
Smarter, Longer-Lasting Power
Despite its compact build, the Z Flip7 boasts a larger 4,300mAh battery – the biggest yet in the Flip lineup – offering up to 31 hours of video playback. Powered by a next-gen 3nm processor customised for Galaxy, it delivers significant improvements across CPU, GPU, and NPU performance. For the first time on a Flip device, Samsung DeX transforms it into a portable workstation when connected to a monitor.
Pocket-Perfect AI Assistant
Running Android 16 and One UI 8, Galaxy Z Flip7 brings Galaxy AI directly to the cover screen. With enhanced multimodal AI, users can interact using voice, text or visuals — all via the FlexWindow. From searching online with voice commands to managing reminders, the Z Flip7 turns everyday tasks into intuitive, one-handed interactions.
Gemini Live on the FlexWindow adds conversational AI power, allowing users to search for travel tips, retrieve flight details, or even make restaurant suggestions. Gemini can also assist visually: just point the camera and ask, “Which outfit is best for the Seoul weather?” – and it responds in real-time.
Now Bar and Now Brief offer at-a-glance info like podcast progress, sports scores, rideshare ETAs, weather, calendar updates, and health summaries – tailored to the user’s routine. The lock screen clock even morphs around wallpapers for a seamless aesthetic.
Personalisation options abound: from dynamic wallpapers and emoji styles to widget configurations, the FlexWindow becomes a true extension of the user’s personality.
A Selfie Studio in Your Pocket
Samsung raises the bar in mobile photography with a dual-camera system – a 50MP Wide and 12MP Ultra-Wide lens – bringing flagship-quality imagery to the Z Flip7. Powered by the ProVisual Engine, photos are crisp and vivid in all lighting conditions, with minimal user adjustment needed.
Enhanced Nightography and 10-bit HDR elevate low-light photography and video with better contrast, detail and colour. Selfies shine, thanks to real-time filters, a new Zoom Slider for framing, and Dual Preview, letting both the photographer and subject see the composition live on the FlexWindow.
Portrait Studio turns everyday moments – even of pets – into creative expressions with cartoon filters, fisheye effects, or pro-level bokeh.
Galaxy Z Flip7 FE: The Foldable for All
To make the foldable experience more accessible, Samsung also introduced the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE. Compact when folded and expansive when opened, it features a 6.7-inch main display, 50MP FlexCam, and intelligent Flex Mode that enables hands-free capture. The FE version includes Now Brief for quick updates on the cover screen and comes in minimalist Black and White finishes.
Future-Ready Security
As AI becomes more embedded in daily life, Samsung enhances security with Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP) – creating isolated storage zones within secure hardware for each app. Samsung Knox Matrix extends cross-device threat detection, while Secure Wi-Fi now features post-quantum cryptography, ensuring stronger encryption even on public networks.
