A former Navy SEAL and vital member of the CIA’s Special Operations Group, Rob Tacoma was raised by his grandparents following the death of his parents, who were murdered by the Russian mafia.
Now, he’s given a shot at revenge when the president of the United States issues a top-secret executive order designed to hit back at the Russian mobs after the assassinations of two prominent American politicians.
Billy Cosgrove, head of the CIA’s Special Operations Group, is handpicked to head the kill team, but unfortunately, he is murdered before he could start his assignment.
Meanwhile, Tacoma, who is also picked to be in the team, decides to go after the people who kill Cosgrove.
With the mafia onto their tail, Tacoma must find a way to track down the mob boss behind the trio of killings. He is backed by CIA operatives including his boss, the director of CIA, Hector Calibrisi and his former partner at RISCON (the private security team Tacoma founded), Katie Foxx, whom he’s made his second-in-command for this mission.
Ben Coes has offered a darker story this time around and he brings the heat with The Russian, featuring an exciting and gripping thriller that will leave readers looking forward to a follow-up.
