Then the story shifts to Hanna Greete’s perspective. The woman runs a human trafficking ring in Amsterdam and she needs to pay back a debt to the Russian mob Emile Rostoff. However, her plans are derailed when Hans gets arrested.

Together with her brother Albert, Hanna comes up with another scheme to get the money to pay back the mob. They need to cash in on another shipment of young girls and guys, and also to smuggle diamonds into the US.

Meanwhile, Tom and his team are checking out the Russian mob on how Roman Rostoff, while publicly offering his humanitarian charities while covertly dealing with human trafficking.

Tom is then assigned to send the children back to Amsterdam where he is met by Marie Meijer, the liaison with the Dutch national police. Marie is also the one responsible for giving the tip about Hans Nobler to Tom.

Saving those children is just the tip of the iceberg in the Rostoff trafficking ring. Will Tom and his team be able to save the next group that Hanna has sent to the US?

Between the murders, kidnapping, and trafficking, it all comes down to who will find the ‘lost’ piece of the complicated puzzle. Will it be Tom and his team or Billy the Blade, who’s employed by Rostoff and willing to kill anyone for the prize?

An interesting read.
