BIG BAD WOLF BOOK SALE 2025 officially kicked off on Dec 19, 2025 with the launch of the “World’s Biggest Book Sale”, offering millions of books at its most accessible prices to date. This time, the event is held at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre.

With books starting from just RM3 and iconic titles such as Harry Potter available from RM19.99, the 2025 sale marks a new milestone in scale, value, and inclusivity.

Renowned for its unmatched size and affordability, Big Bad Wolf continues to make reading accessible to all — from children’s favourites and young adult fiction to non-fiction, classics, and international bestsellers. The sale reinforces the brand’s long-standing mission: to keep books inclusive, affordable, and within reach of every readers.

As digital life becomes increasingly dominant, global conversations around screen time, digital wellbeing, and age-appropriate access to technology have intensified — particularly where children are concerned. In this wider context, Big Bad Wolf’s emphasis on physical books and reading feels especially timely, offering families and young readers a meaningful, screen-free alternative that encourages focus, imagination, and deeper engagement.

The Harry Potter from RM19.99 promotion reflects this belief, making one of the world’s most beloved literary series more affordable at a time when many parents and educators are actively seeking healthier reading habits for children.

“This is what Big Bad Wolf does best,” said Andrew Yap, Co-Founder of Big Bad Wolf.

“By offering books at prices starting from RM3, alongside timeless series like Harry Potter at RM19.99, we’re making sure great stories remain accessible to everyone.”

Now in its 16th year, Big Bad Wolf has evolved into a global book movement, reaching millions of readers across multiple countries. While its scale has expanded dramatically, its purpose remains unchanged — to nurture a culture of reading by making books affordable, relevant, and meaningful.

For Jacqueline Ng, also a Co-Founder of Big Bad Wolf, the sale’s longevity is rooted in the community that continues to support it year after year.

“Readers return because they believe in the power of books,” she shared.

“That trust is what keeps Big Bad Wolf going.”

Beyond the vast book selection, visitors can enjoy a range of on-ground experiences and promotions, including returning-customer rebates, student and teacher perks, exclusive cardholder privileges, RM3 book specials, RM10 flat-price collections, and interactive activities. These include the Big Bad Book Stacker Challenge, blind-date-with-a-book experiences, and curated discovery zones designed to spark curiosity.

By combining iconic titles, unprecedented prices, and immersive experiences, Big Bad Wolf continues to redefine what a book sale can be — not just a retail event, but a large-scale celebration of reading.
